Final conference

BALTRIS Final conference took place in Palanga, Lithuania, August 2012. The three day event invited traffic safety experts from the Baltic Sea region and other parts of Europe. The attending speakers represented the BALTRIS states (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden) and Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany and Norway. Around 70 persons joined the conference for exchange of knowledge in infrastructure safety and fruitful discussions on improvements.

The BALTRIS project is a beginning of important networking with the aim to help road users all over Europe enjoy enhanced road safety. Working together across national borders we can really make a difference. The experiences and outputs from BALTRIS can serve as a base from where we have the possibility to positively change the life of many Europeans. Enhancing road safety saves life, health and money.
